Roof replacement in New Jersey

A written scope, a fixed price and one crew from tear-off to final walkthrough.

Replacing a roof is a large decision. We inspect and measure first, then put materials, flashing, ventilation, permit and price in a written scope before any work starts.

When replacement makes sense

  • Shingles curling, cupping, cracking or shedding granules across the roof
  • Repeated leaks in different places
  • Roof age at or near the end of its expected service life for the material
  • Daylight visible in the attic, soft or sagging decking
  • Widespread storm damage where repair would not hold

What we do

  1. Inspect and measure. Roof, attic, ventilation and decking condition, with photos.
  2. Written scope. Materials, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, permit and price in one document.
  3. Install. Tear-off, deck repair, underlayment and new roofing by one crew, with cleanup.
  4. Walk through. Final inspection with you, and warranty paperwork handed over.
DATA NEEDED before publish: materials and manufacturers actually installed, warranty terms (manufacturer and workmanship), certifications held, 2 real re-roof projects, typical timeline.

Questions homeowners ask

Do I need a permit?

Requirements vary by town. We confirm them with your municipality before starting. [Owner to confirm who files.]

Will my homeowners policy pay for this?

It depends on the cause and on your policy. Sudden damage from a covered event may be covered; replacement because of age usually is not. Policies also differ on actual cash value versus replacement cost. Read your policy or ask your agent, and keep your photos and estimates.

How long does it take?

Most residential re-roofs are measured in days, not weeks, but timing depends on size, weather and material. We give you a schedule in the written scope.

Do you work with my insurance company?

We give you a written inspection report, dated photos and an itemized estimate that you can share with your insurer. We do not negotiate claims; that is the role of a licensed public adjuster or an attorney.
