Roof leak repair & tarping in New Jersey

Find the real entry point, stop the water, then fix it properly.

A leak rarely starts where the stain appears. Water travels along rafters and decking before it shows on a ceiling, so a lasting repair starts with finding the entry point.

Signs of a roof leak

  • Ceiling stains, bubbling paint or drips during or after rain
  • Damp insulation, dark decking or a musty smell in the attic
  • Moisture around chimneys, vents, skylights or valleys
  • Missing, cracked or lifted shingles and failed sealant
  • Ice dams along the eaves in winter

What we do

  1. Protect. Active leaks come first: temporary tarp or dry-in when needed.
  2. Find the source. Roof and attic inspection, tracing the water back to the opening.
  3. Repair. Flashing, shingles, sealing or penetrations, fixed at the cause.
  4. Check the inside. Photograph ceiling and insulation damage and tell you what needs drying or replacing.
A tarp is temporary. Tarping buys time. It is not the repair, and the permanent fix should follow once conditions allow.
DATA NEEDED before publish: 2 real leak-repair projects, confirmation of tarping capability, response-time statement, warranty on repairs.

Questions homeowners ask

Do I need a new roof or just a repair?

It depends on the roof age, the extent of the damage and how many problem areas there are. We put our recommendation and the reasons in writing.

Will my homeowners policy pay for this?

It depends on the cause and on your policy. Leaks from sudden storm damage are treated differently from leaks caused by wear or lack of maintenance, which policies usually exclude. Read your policy or ask your agent, and keep your photos and estimates.

How soon can you come?

We prioritize active leaks. Call us and we will give you an honest arrival time based on our schedule and your location.

Do you work with my insurance company?

We give you a written inspection report, dated photos and an itemized estimate that you can share with your insurer. We do not negotiate claims; that is the role of a licensed public adjuster or an attorney.
